How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the page URL, the exact sentence or tool behavior at issue, why it appears incorrect, and a source that supports the correction. Do not include private claim records or personal identifiers.
Correction sequence
- Log the report and preserve the page URL.
- Check the issued source, current regulator material, or calculation logic.
- Correct a material error and update the visible review date.
- Add a correction note when the change could alter a reader's decision.
- Recheck internal links, structured data, and related pages.
What is not silently changed
A page date is not refreshed merely to make the article look new. Spelling and layout fixes may not receive a public correction note; a change to coverage meaning, calculation logic, cited data, or a stated requirement should receive a substantive review.
Disagreement is not automatically an error
Insurance forms and claim facts vary. When two sources legitimately differ, the page should narrow the statement, identify the scope, and point the reader to the current policy or regulator rather than manufacture one universal answer.
